It all started with a seed planted in Jeanne's brain in 2003. That one moment changed her view of education forever and led to a journey that slowly but surely influenced the way people learn and teach. Jeanne was looking for something new after a session at a large hotel.
As she walked through the abandoned training rooms, she noticed that the same old teaching methods and models were being used over and over again, regardless of the subject matter. This discovery got her thinking and she realized it was a shame. This insight prompted her to explore further. She studied with Kessels and Smit and immersed herself in the science of learning and education, and she shared her acquired knowledge with others through her books, articles and the podcast "No More Boring Learning."
The enthusiasm Jeanne brought to her work slowly began to radiate. People worldwide were attracted to her new approaches and her fresh perspective on learning and training. This led to the growth of Brain Bakery, a network of more than 100 dedicated individuals around the world committed to making learning more engaging and effective.
As the years went by, Brain Bakery evolved into a community of "Brainiacs" challenging the traditional way of training and facilitation. Without too much fuss, we strive to renew the training landscape. Our mission: add value to people and organizations, preferably measurably and without being boring.
Brain Bakery focuses on four subject areas. First, there are the learning programs, both online and offline, that focus on delivering tangible results in the areas of leadership, sales and customer focus. We also have our inspiring keynotes that take conferences to the next level and spur participants into action. Another facet is our well-known concept "Dealing with Dragons. This concept is enhanced by books, an augmented reality questionnaire and a game, through which individuals and teams learn in an innovative way how to deal with each other and the diversity that is mankind.
Last but not least is our well-known educational Train-the-Trainer annual program. This allows professionals to sharpen their skills and train others more effectively, spreading the impact of learning like a positive wave. After successfully completing this track, trainers become certified in the No More Boring Learning Concept and become part of the Brianiacs.
